Who Nova is

Nova Laboratories is the manufacturing arm of Nova Wellness Group, listed on Bursa Malaysia since 2018. Its plant at Sungai Pelek, Sepang, runs its own botanical extraction.

What it is like to start a brand here

Nova is mainly an own-brand company: OEM was about 13% of revenue in 2021. That can mean less flexibility for small orders, but also an experienced R&D team for herbal products.

Our verdict

Worth a call for herbal and phytopharmaceutical supplements; expect a slower, more formal process.
