The 10 best supplement OEM manufacturers in Malaysia for new brands (2026)

D&O Nutraceutical, ORIZI Group’s powder-food company in Lahat, Ipoh, is the only factory here that publishes its MOQ — 500–1,000 boxes or 10,000 sachets — and it offers free samples straight from its website. Its library covers 35 product lines, from instant drinks and protein to meal replacements and electrolytes.
It also prints its certificate numbers (GMP 00203, HACCP 00425, ISO 22000 FSMS 00229, all from SIRIM), which lets you check them in minutes. JAKIM lists 68 of its halal products across 32 client brands, and the ORIZI Group listing holds 5.0 stars from 378 Google reviews.
The limit is format: powders only. And because its GMP is a food GMP, its products are sold as food or functional food — not as MAL-registered supplements.

Whichever factory you choose, a first order follows the same five steps. The time ranges are what the factories in this list publish or quote: a ready-to-brand formula sits at the short end, a new formula at the long end.
Typical timeline for a first private-label supplements order in MalaysiaChart: Top10OEM
Before you contact a factory: four decisions
1. Food or MAL-registered supplement? This is the biggest fork in the road. A MAL-registered product can make stronger health claims but needs months of NPRA registration and a factory with an NPRA licence. A food-category product (most sachet drinks, protein and meal replacements) launches faster but must stick to food claims.
2. Which format? Not every factory makes every format. Powders and sachets: D&O, Bionutricia, Biofact. Capsules and tablets: Yanling, White Heron, High Valley, Biofact. Softgels: Yanling, White Heron, High Valley, Hovid, Softgel Manufacturing (plant-based).
3. Halal per product. As with cosmetics, halal is certified product by product. All ten factories appear in the JAKIM directory, but check that a product like yours is listed.
4. Who owns the formula and the registration? Ask for the MAL or food notification to be held in your company’s name where possible.

How we picked and scored
We started from supplement makers on the JAKIM MyeHalal register, company registries and public lists, removed traders, coordinators and companies with serious regulatory problems, and scored the rest on the same five criteria we use everywhere — see our methodology. Malaysia’s NPRA does not publish a list of GMP-licensed supplement manufacturers, so GMP claims here are marked as company-stated unless the certificate number was published.
Not included, and why
Company
Reason
Furley Bioextracts

HAX OEM
No legal company name or factory address published.
NaViBiotech

Pharmaniaga, Duopharma
Medicine contract makers, not a fit for supplement start-ups.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best supplement OEM manufacturer in Malaysia?
For a first-time brand making powders, drinks or meal replacements, D&O Nutraceutical (ORIZI Group) scored highest: it publishes its MOQ and certificate numbers and offers free samples. For capsules, tablets and softgels, Yanling Natural Hygiene has the widest range.
What is the lowest MOQ for private label supplements in Malaysia?
D&O Nutraceutical publishes 500–1,000 boxes or 10,000 sachets. Softgel Manufacturing says small MOQs are possible without giving a figure, and Yanling’s enquiry form starts at 1,000 units. Others quote on request.
Do I need a MAL number for my supplement?
Products registered as traditional or health supplements need a MAL number from NPRA, which takes months. Many powder drinks and functional foods are sold as food instead, which needs no MAL number but limits the claims you can make. Decide the category with your factory before you design the label.
Which Malaysian factories make softgels?
Yanling, White Heron, High Valley and Hovid make gelatin softgels; Softgel Manufacturing makes plant-based softgels only. D&O and Bionutricia do not make softgels.
How do I check a supplement factory is real and halal?
Search the company in the JAKIM MyeHalal directory and look for other brands’ products on its list. Ask for GMP certificate numbers and the issuer (NPRA or SIRIM), and check MAL numbers on NPRA’s Quest3+ register.
Is OEM cheaper than building my own supplement factory?
For almost every new brand, yes. A factory needs licences, GMP systems and staff; OEM lets you start with one product and a few thousand units.
